HR Advisor
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees across the business. The role will focus on employee relations, ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently, fairly, and in line with current employment legislation. You will also support the wider HR team with administrative and operational duties.

- Managing a range of employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Supporting the management of ongoing ER issues
- Providing advice on employment law and ensuring compliance with company HR policies and procedures
- Supporting management teams with performance management, absence management, and employee welfare matters
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case notes and ensuring all documentation is compliant
- Producing HR documentation, including letters, contracts, and contract amendments
- Maintaining and updating company HR systems and records
- Supporting the employee induction process
- Supporting and embedding company values: Trust, Relationships, Experience
- Contributing to policy reviews and making recommendations for improvement
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Key Requirements
- Strong communication skills with a practical, common-sense approach and sound judgement
- Proven experience managing a wide range of employee relations cases
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, impartial, and able to build strong working relationships
- Ability to manage demanding timescales effectively
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative team player
- Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (knowledge of ADP iHCM is advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence (travel between sites will be required)
- CIPD qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience within the Motor Trade or Retail environment is highly desirable
