Careers in Human Resources
A career in Human Resources at Mon Motors means joining a centralised team that supports all dealerships, leadership teams, and departments across South Wales and the South West of England.
HR manages the full employment lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to training, policy compliance, employee relations, and organisational development. The team includes HR administrators, advisors, managers, business partners, and recruitment specialists, all working closely with C-suite leaders and dealership management.
As a family-run business, we place strong value on creating a supportive and people-focused culture. HR plays a key role in maintaining consistency, fairness, and high standards across a multi-brand retail environment. Site visits, pre-arranged meetings, and hands-on support ensure managers and colleagues have the guidance they need. With strong emphasis on progression, long-term development, and continuous improvement, HR offers a rewarding career for those who enjoy working with people and shaping how the business grows.

What we're looking for
We look for individuals who are confident working with people, organised in their approach, and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. Communication, confidentiality, and the ability to problem-solve are essential, as HR supports colleagues at all levels across the group. Whether you are dealing with recruitment, employee relations, or policy queries, clear thinking and empathy are key.
Our HR environment is centralised, fast-paced, and highly collaborative. The team works closely with managers, visits dealerships for pre-arranged meetings, and handles a wide range of queries. This requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the confidence to support leaders and colleagues effectively. Automotive HR is varied and often complex, especially across multiple brands, but training and support are always available.
We welcome candidates at all levels, from HR administrators to experienced advisors and CIPD-qualified professionals. With opportunities to develop, take on more responsibility, and support a family-run business with long-standing colleagues, HR at Mon Motors offers a meaningful and rewarding career.
