What our IT & Telecommunications team does
Our IT team cover a broad range of responsibilities:
- Service Desk Support: Providing first-line help for colleagues across the group, from password resets and software issues to troubleshooting hardware, printers, and devices. This also includes onboarding and offboarding colleagues, managing user accounts, and looking after company laptops, mobiles, and other devices.
- Infrastructure & Networks: Building and maintaining the core systems that keep our business running, from servers and storage to connectivity and wireless networks. This includes proactive monitoring, performance management, and backup and recovery to keep operations resilient.
- Establishing New Sites: Setting up IT and telecommunications infrastructure for new dealerships, including networks, telephony, and business systems, ensuring everything is operational from day one.
- Cyber Security: Protecting the business with proactive monitoring, security training, threat detection, and incident response.
- Applications Management: Supporting and integrating dealership management systems, retail platforms, and workshop tools that keep operations running smoothly, alongside reporting and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Telecommunications: Managing voice systems, mobiles, and contact centre platforms to ensure clear communication with customers and between sites.
- Projects & Innovation: Delivering upgrades, system rollouts, and technology improvements that help colleagues work smarter and enhance the customer journey.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensuring IT processes meet manufacturer requirements, data protection rules, and wider regulatory standards, while managing suppliers and ensuring services deliver value.
