Workshop Controller
This is a key role within the Aftersales department, working in a fast-paced main dealer environment. We are looking for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Aftersales team at Bath Volkswagen.
Reporting directly to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, high-quality servicing and repairs, while driving workshop performance and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
The role
- Lead and manage the workshop team with a strong focus on development and performance
- Allocate work to technicians, ensuring quality standards and timeframes are achieved
- Monitor workshop productivity and ensure all KPIs are met
- Drive brand standards and ensure they are consistently maintained
- Act as the main point of contact for the front-of-house team, ensuring customers are kept fully informed
- Support technical problem-solving within the workshop
- Drive customer satisfaction and CSI performance

- Proven experience in a Workshop Controller role within a main dealer environment
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Confident using workshop management systems
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A team-focused approach with a technical and problem-solving background
