The Volkswagen Caddy is offered with a selection of efficient petrol and diesel engines. The 1.5-litre petrol TSI unit produces around 114 PS and meets the current Euro 6 emissions standard. Diesel options for the Caddy are available with 102 PS or 122 PS output, and employ a “twin-dosing” AdBlue® selective catalytic reduction system to markedly reduce NOₓ emissions, supporting compliance with the latest emission regulations.
There are two main body configurations: standard short-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase “Maxi”. The standard SWB variant is normally supplied with five seats, but there is an option to upgrade to a seven-seat layout. The Maxi version is generally configured as a seven-seater as standard. Both versions feature flexible seating - rear seat benches can be folded down or removed entirely, allowing the interior to be reconfigured easily to carry bulky loads or furniture when needed.
For those carrying passengers, the outer rear seats are equipped with ISOFIX anchor points and Top Tether belts, providing secure child-seat installation. This makes the vehicle well-suited to families or anyone needing to combine passenger flexibility with load-carrying capability.
