What is a Škoda service?
A Škoda service is a vehicle inspection performed by our team of Škoda-trained technicians at one of our four Škoda dealerships in Bristol, Gloucester, Newport or Weston-super-Mare. The purpose is to optimise a vehicle’s performance, perform routine maintenance, and look out for issues, defects or incidents of wear and tear.
It’s important to note that a Škoda service is not legally required in the same way that MOT tests are — although, it’s possible to book a Škoda service at the same time as an MOT test to save you making two separate journeys to one of our dealerships.
That being said, annual Škoda servicing is a sensible habit to adopt if you’re serious about keeping your vehicle in good running order. It might even save you money in the long run if minor issues are spotted at an earlier stage when they’re more easily fixed.
We also offer different ways of managing the cost of Škoda servicing. Our Škoda service plans offer the possibility of spreading the cost of vehicle maintenance over a longer period, while our 0% finance offer also lets you do the same (as well as delay the first payment for up to 40 days).
What does a Škoda service include?
When you bring your vehicle into one of our Škoda dealerships for a service, our team of Škoda-trained technicians will check each of your car’s key components, including brakes, gears and battery. Depending on the mileage or age of the vehicle, certain parts (such as the pollen filter or diesel fuel filter) will be replaced. Fluids will also be replenished if necessary.
If they spot something that requires further attention, they will recommend repairs be carried out. These can usually be completed at our four Škoda dealerships, where we only use genuine Škoda parts with a two-year warranty.
