Reserve Online – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply when you place a reservation for a vehicle through the Mon Motors Limited website. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Placing a reservation for a vehicle does not constitute a sale or purchase.  

1. About Us

This service is provided by Mon Motors Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 01281826, with its registered office at Mon House Newhouse Farm Industrial Estate, Road Industrial Estate, Chepstow NP16 6UD. 2. Purpose of the Reservation

Placing a reservation allows you ("the Customer") to temporarily reserve a vehicle for a limited time while you decide whether to proceed with a purchase. It does not constitute a legally binding agreement to purchase the vehicle.

3. Reservation Fee

A refundable Reservation Fee is payable at the time of reservation. The sum of the Reservation Fee shall be as stated on our website from time to time. This fee:

• Allows us to temporarily remove the vehicle from sale for a period of 48 hours;
• Does not constitute a deposit;
• Will be deducted from the vehicle’s purchase price if you proceed to a full order;
• Will be refunded in full if you choose not to proceed.

4. Confirmation and Contact

Once your payment is processed, we will send a confirmation email. If you do not receive confirmation within 2 hours, please contact us to verify your reservation. We will aim to contact you within 48 hours to arrange a viewing, test drive, or further discussion.

5. Vehicle Availability

While we aim to keep our website up-to-date, in rare instances the vehicle you have reserved may already have been sold, or be unavailable for another unforeseen reason. If this occurs, we will notify you and refund your Reservation Fee in full.

6. Expiry and Cancellation

• The reservation will expire automatically 48 hours after confirmation if you have not proceeded with the purchase.
• You may cancel your reservation at any time prior to placing a full order.
• We may also cancel the reservation if the vehicle becomes unavailable or if more than two reservations have been made in your name.
• In all cases, the Reservation Fee will be refunded to the original payment method within 7 working days.

7. No Obligation to Buy or Sell

This reservation does not oblige you to purchase the vehicle or Mon Motors Limited to sell it. A purchase agreement is only formed once you complete a full vehicle order and it is accepted by us in writing.

8. Use of Reservation Fee

If you proceed to purchase the vehicle, your Reservation Fee will be applied as part payment toward the overall price. If you do not proceed, it will be refunded.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age;
• Ensure that all information provided is accurate and complete;
• Only make a reservation using a payment method in your own name or with proper authorisation.

10. Liability

We are not liable for:

• Any losses or inconvenience arising from cancellation of a reservation;
• Failure to contact you due to incorrect contact details;
• Technical issues preventing the reservation from being processed.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
