What is a SEAT recall?
The vast majority of drivers will never be affected by a vehicle recall. However, if you’re one of the few, don’t worry — although they sound serious, they’re often down to a minor issue that can be quickly fixed at our dealerships by our team of SEAT-trained technicians.
SEAT continues to monitor its vehicles and carry out regular quality checks. If an issue is found, affected owners are contacted so the necessary work can be completed promptly and free of charge. Previous reasons for SEAT recalls include incorrectly fitted heat shields and improperly secured radiators, both of which were easily remedied at SEAT dealerships.
It should be noted that when a specific SEAT model is recalled, it doesn’t necessarily follow that every single SEAT car within that range will be recalled. Typically, SEAT recalls only affect vehicles made within a certain production period.
