At Mon Motors, we’re proud to support the Motability Scheme and can help you access a wide range of adaptations designed to make driving more comfortable and accessible, whether you need support getting in and out of your vehicle, help with storing mobility aids, or greater control behind the wheel.
Many adaptations through the scheme are available at no extra cost. Once you've chosen your vehicle, we'll arrange for the adaptations to be fitted before it's delivered, so your new car is ready to drive on day one.
Through Mon Motors, you can choose from a trusted selection of Motability vehicles, including models from Volkswagen, Škoda, SEAT, Ford, Volvo, and CUPRA, with many electric options available. For those who need extra space or accessibility, we also offer vehicles from Ford Commercial Vehicles and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

Which adaptations can I get and how?
When considering Motability adaptations, it’s important to think about your day-to-day needs. Consider how you’ll get in and out of the vehicle, how many passengers (or pets) will be travelling with you, whether you need to carry mobility equipment, and how much luggage space you typically require.
The Motability Scheme offers a wide range of adaptations, many of which are available at no extra cost when arranged at the start of your lease. These fall into three main categories:
Access adaptations – to make getting in and out easier
Driving controls – to help you operate the vehicle
Storage adaptations – for storing mobility aids
While many adaptations are available at no extra cost, some may require a contribution. It’s also important to check that the adaptations you need are compatible with your chosen vehicle. If you already have adaptations, we can help assess whether they can be transferred to your new vehicle free of charge. If cost is a concern, you may be eligible for support through the Motability Foundation. Our team can help you explore this during your application.
