What is a Škoda service?

Last updated on the 2nd February 2026

A Škoda service is a detailed vehicle inspection carried out by our Škoda‑trained Technicians at one of our three authorised Škoda dealerships in Bristol, Gloucester, and Weston‑super‑Mare. Each service is designed to optimise your Škoda’s performance, support long‑term reliability, and identify any issues, defects, or signs of wear before they become more serious.

Unlike an MOT test, a Škoda service isn’t a legal requirement, but combining your Škoda service and MOT in a single visit is a convenient way to keep your car fully up to date while saving yourself an extra trip to the dealership.

Even though it isn’t mandatory, annual Škoda servicing is one of the most effective ways to keep your vehicle running smoothly. Regular maintenance helps protect key components, maintains efficiency, and can reduce long‑term repair costs by catching minor problems early.

To make servicing easier to manage, we offer flexible ways to spread the cost. Our Škoda Service Plans allow you to budget for routine maintenance over a longer period, while our 0% finance option gives you the ability to spread payments - with the added benefit of delaying your first instalment for up to 40 days (T&Cs apply).
