Our brand new Cardiff Volvo dealership, showroom and service centre was opened in September 2024, and it’s here that all Volvo servicing and maintenance tasks are carried out. Our Technicians have been trained and approved by Volvo, so whether you own a petrol-powered XC40 or a fully electric EX90, our experts know your vehicle.
We provide servicing for new and Approved Used Volvos, and have a choice of service plans available, offering different levels of cover. Our service centre is equipped with the latest technology, including diagnostic tools, so we can identify any potential issues swiftly.

What does a Volvo service with Mon Motors include?
A Volvo service is an intensive inspection of your vehicle, aimed to ensure key functions are working exactly as they should. What’s included in your service can vary, as a Volvo is typically serviced when the vehicle reaches a certain mileage, or age; if you’ve purchased a service plan, cover levels can also vary.
During a service, our Technicians will check components such as brake pads and brake discs, for signs of wear and tear, and replace parts if necessary. Wiper blades and tyres are checked. Volvo servicing can include oil and oil changes, air filter replacement, tyre sealant replacement and spark plugs replacement. Your Volvo’s suspension, steering and gearbox will be examined for any signs of damage or deterioration. If there’s any damage to your vehicle’s windscreen, that will be repaired or replaced.
If you have an all-electric Volvo, we’ll check your car’s battery health and charging cables.
Every Volvo service includes a complimentary health check. If any possible issues arise, we’ll provide a video analysis and explanation – delivered to your email – so you can see for yourself and agree to any repairs first.
On completion of every Volvo service, you’ll receive some useful extras – a 12 month subscription to the Volvo Cars app, 12 months of Volvo Assistance to provide breakdown cover, and a free software update.
