What’s included in the Ford Protect Wear & Tear Plan?
Ford’s Protect Wear & Tear Plan provides servicing for your van and also covers your vehicle for repair and replacement of certain parts. This plan is available on new Ford vans only — a Ford Protect Wear & Tear Plan must be bought before your vehicle is 90 days old, so talk to our Newport Ford team about this option if you’re purchasing a brand new model from Mon Motors.
This plan covers your vehicle for routine servicing and maintenance, including oil and brake fluid checks, inspection of fuel filters, air filters, spark plugs and more. Ford Assistance cover is also included, which can support you with roadside rescue, repairs and recovery should your vehicle break down.
Cover also applies to the replacement or repair of the following vehicle parts:
- Brake pads, discs and shoes
- Clutch friction plate
- Shock absorbers
- Silencer
- Wiper blades
- Bulbs
Parts must have been used for at least six months or 6,000 miles to be eligible for repair or replacement.
