If a Ford recall has been announced due to an issue that could impact the performance and safety of your vehicle, you will be contacted with details of what you need to do next. However, if you want to check from time to time for any outstanding recalls yourself, it’s free and simple to do.
Visit gov.uk and use the free safety recall check to see whether your van has any recalls. Just input the registration of your vehicle and you’ll see any safety recalls that haven’t been checked or fixed. You can also use Ford’s recall check; for this you’ll need to share your vehicle’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which is displayed on the van and on vehicle registration documents as well as your MOT certificate.

When Ford — or any vehicle manufacturer — issues a recall, it means an issue has been identified that needs to be repaired. Ford routinely continues to check and test models to ensure there are no issues that develop after production.
