What’s included in the Ford Protect Service Plus Plan?
The Ford Protect Service Plus Plan covers your van for multiple services as well as repairs for selected parts that can suffer wear and tear damage. It’s for new Ford vans and must be purchased within 90 days of the vehicle’s first registration. If you’re buying a new van from us, ask our team about availability.
Service Plan Plus provides four services to cover three years, or 60,000 miles. It provides routine service work, inspecting and checking fuel filters, oil filters and gaskets, air filters, engine oils and spark plugs. It also includes extended maintenance, with replacement brake fluid every 24 months, bodywork and paint check every 24 months, and an air condition check with the third scheduled service.
This Ford service plan incorporates Ford Van Protect Wear & Tear, which covers replacement or repair of the following parts:
- Brake pads, discs and shoes
- Clutch friction plate
- Shock absorbers
- Silencer
- Wiper blades
- Bulbs
To be eligible for replacement or repair, parts must have been used for at least six months or 6,000 miles, and worn down beyond acceptable working limits in accordance with Ford’s wear limit guidelines.
As with other Ford service plans, Ford Assistance is also included. This provides support in the event of a vehicle breakdown, and can include repair and recovery.
