The Ford Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid gives you the best of both worlds – an electric motor with compact and light 11.8kWh battery pack, enough to complete short journeys on electric power alone with zero tailpipe emissions and 33 mil range; working alongside a 2.5-litre petrol engine that eliminates the prospect of range anxiety for longer journeys, and also allows for working in areas with no access to recharging infrastructure. Boasting a combined 232 PS (171 kW), and driving through a CVT automated transmission, the Transit Custom Plug-in Hybrid offers effortless performance all the time.
Just like standard Transit Customs it comes with a class-leading, easily accessed load space of up to 6.8m3, while the payload can be as high as 1,204kg. A further 2,300kg can be pulled on a braked trailer. Like any Ford van it boasts legendary toughness as standard and is more connected than ever before.
