Choose your new Ford Transit Chassis Cab in double cab configuration and you can carry your crew as well as your cargo with ease.
As with all Transits, toughness comes as standard. The Ford Transit Chassis Cab continues to build on its renowned flexibility – it’s always capable, more connected than ever before and remastered to work even harder.
The double cab is powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine with a choice of two power ratings – 130 or 165PS, with torque outputs of 360 or 390Nm respectively. There’s a choice of front, rear or all-wheel drive and, depending on the version selected, you can opt for six-speed manual or eight-or ten-speed automatic transmission.
Depending on the version you choose, Gross Vehicle Mass can be as high as 5.0 tonnes, with a potential payload of 2,769kg, and Gross Towing Mass up to 7.0 tonnes. The double cab arrangement means a driver and up to six passengers can travel in safety and comfort. Chassis can be supplied work-ready with flat-bed dropside or tipper bodies, or as the base for a wide range of conversion possibilities. Overall lengths range from 5,572 to 7,394mm, giving chassis frame lengths of 2,327 to 4,149mm, while Gross Vehicle Mass can be specified at 3.5, 4.7 or 5.0 tonnes.
