How does Audi business leasing work?
Business Contract Hire (BCH) is an Audi finance plan, but unlike Personal Contract Hire (PCH) or Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), it’s only available to businesses – not private drivers. If you’re a sole trader or self-employed, you can be eligible for a BCH.
With business leasing, the business enters into a contract to lease an Audi – or lots of Audi vehicles, if the business is looking for a fleet of cars. Mon Motors Audi offers an extensive range of models available to lease, including the Audi Q4 e-tron and Q3 SUV e-hybrid.
The business leases the vehicle on behalf of an employee, typically paying an initial rental fee – a deposit – followed by fixed monthly rentals (payments) for the duration of the plan, which could be anywhere from 12 months to 48 months.
With a BCH, there is usually an agreed annual mileage limit – an example would be 8,000 miles. If that’s exceeded, there will be an excess mileage fee, chargeable per mile. There is sometimes an option to include servicing and maintenance as part of the monthly payment too, although this will come at an additional cost.
At the end of the agreement, a business simply returns the vehicle with nothing more to pay – assuming it’s returned in the same good condition as at the start of the lease. There may be additional mileage/wear and tear charges to pay also. The business can then look for a new BCH deal if it chooses.
